Our client came to us needing a major update to their website in preparation for a bid for a contract with the city of Pittsburgh.  After an initial meeting we thought it would be time better spent doing a complete redesign of the website.  We had three days and a handful of photos.  Together with Jennifer Pearce (photographer and retoucher, and fellow Promorocker) we spent about 40 hours over a three day period building the site.

The site uses WordPress as its content management system to provide self service additions of projects, profile information, etc.  The code still needs some work as well as finalizing the Search Engine Optimization.  In a couple weeks we saw the site go from obscurity in Google to making it to the top of page three for the search terms “Pittsburgh Architect” and “Pittsburgh Architectural Firm”.

Since the site had to be launched so quickly, it will have to be tweaked and monitored to make sure that it is as effective as possible.
